Onion

An onion is a crop that grows on farmland from onion seeds.

Harvesting[]

Harvesting an onion plant yields 1 - 3 onions, 1 - 2 onion seeds, and 15 Farming XP (63 XP with the 4x daily bonus). The chance of obtaining more than one onion per plant is increased by the player's Farming level and for owners of the VIP gamepass. The 5% chance of obtaining an extra onion seed is increased for owners of the pro gamepass.

Totems[]

An onion totem will collect and replant onions in a 3-block radius, which can then be collected by interacting it. An onion totem placed next to a conveyor belt will drop the onions onto the conveyor, but doing so will make them oily. This process cannot yield extra onion seeds.

Growth[]

The growth time of onions can be shortened by 20% when watered with a watering can or basic sprinkler, or fertilized with basic fertilizer. If watered and fertilized, the growth time will be shortened by 30%.
