The July 16, 2022 update, also known as the spirit furniture update, is an update in Islands that added spirit furniture blocks, overhauled vending machines, mossy blocks, cobblestone, the world map guide, and other quality of life changes.

- Trash cans now return items if the player exits the menu without discarding items.
- Replaced tooltips with proximity prompts for all villagers.
- Replaced the Maple Isles portal in the Hub with Don, who will transport the player to the Maple Isles instead.
- Added additional details in the Hub for players with graphics setting greater than 3.
- Added new dialogue for Quinn and John.
- Increased sell price of potatoes from 11 coins to 17 coins.
- Decreased sell price of grapes from 22 coins to 18 coins.

- Fixed an issue with players getting stuck on the loading screen.
- Fixed an issue where players could not play the game if their islands were corrupted.
- Fixed the level stats menu not closing when opening the inventory.
- Villager dialogue boxes now close when opening the inventory.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from being able to obtain a treasure map from Davey after discarding one in a trash can.
- Fixed certain treasure spots not rewarding treasure chests when dug up.
- Fixed the Breed Daisy quest.
- Fixed an issue with Quinn duplicating in the Hub.
