Notice
Most of theses bodies of water do not have official names, so names have been made for them.
Bodies of water can be found in nearly every island. Players are able to fish and collect water with buckets in most of them except for the Crystal Pool, Godzilla Lake, and Skull River. There is also a bug where players are unable to get any fish from the Hub River. Coral, Sea Grass, Aquamarine and Clay only spawn in the Hub Pond and Slime Reef.
In-Game[]
Below are permanent bodies of water that exist in the Hub and Mob islands.
The Hub Pond is located by Thomas's shack in the Hub. It was the first body of water added in Islands and has had a few altered versions since the game's debut.
The Hub River is a river added in the February 26, 2021 update. It is located to the right of the castle behind Jack by a unnamed red roofed building. Although shadows of fish appear within the river, players are unable to reel in any fish, although it is possible to cast a fishing rod into the river.
The Azarath Oasis Pond is the only officially-named body of water in Islands. It was added in the November 20, 2020 update along with Desert city and consists of two ponds and some vegetation.
Slime Reef is located on Slime Island and is the only place besides the Hub Pond where aquamarine rocks can be mined.
The Pirate Sea is located on Pirate Island and is the only body of water that pufferfish and sharks can be caught in.
Events[]
These bodies of water were only accessible during their respective events.
The Fishing Lake is a lake only accessible during the Fishing Festival event, which took place from February 27, 2021 to March 3, 2021.
Accessible during the Godzilla vs. Kong Event, the Skull River can be found in the center of Skull Island. Kong could be seen walking around it and would occasionally drink from it. It wasn't deep enough to swim in, with the exception of little
Accessible during the Godzilla vs. Kong Event, Godzilla Lake is located on Godzilla Island. Godzilla could be found swimming around in it, but there was an invisible barrier blocking players from Godzilla.
Farmer's Creek was a body of water on Farming Festival Island, it was only accessible during the Farming Festival.
