The April 16, 2022 update, also known as the orb update, is an update in Islands that added personal orbs, and boss orbs.

Changes[]

Regular treasure chests can now be found on Pirate Island
- Treasure maps may now locate treasure chests on Slime Island, the Maple Isles, Spirit Island, Pirate Island, Buffalkor Island, Wizard Island, or Desert Island
Fixed the appearances of andesite, diorite, and granite rocks
Reduced the damage dealt by Fhanhorn's pull attack by 25% and increased its periodic healing time from 1.6 seconds to 2.3 seconds

Fixed a bug causing some treasure chests to be too deep within the ground to be dug up

Fixed a bug causing pink rabbits to crash Roblox
Fixed a bug preventing players from traveling to Fhanhorn's spawn area.
Fixed tai nigiri showing up twice in the Cooking skill roadmap
Fixed an issue with Kor’s stomp attack
Infernal fish are now able to be placed into fish tanks
- Infernal fish, spirit fish, and puffer fish now appear in fish tanks
Corrected the appearances of duck and turkey spawn eggs
Fixed an area in the Hub with an incorrect collision box
Fixed a visual error where lava appeared on Slime Island
Fixed the incomplete lake on the Slime Island
Fixed the torches in the mines not being lit
Art frames are no longer affected by gravity

Taliyah no longer comes to player islands to grant an Islands second anniversary cake
Removed decorations in the Hub celebrating Islands' second anniversary

Boss orbs now display the boss's name in the teleporter UI
Boss locations can now be used to teleport players from their own islands
Fixed orientation to face the summoning entrance for every boss when teleported to
Renamed "Diamond Mine Island" to "Diamond Mines" for the Diamond Mines orb teleport display
